Taking Your First Steps Toward Preparing a Sustainability Strategic Plan

Planning strategies for sustainability in your organization can be fraught with many pitfalls because there is little information available to establish the right priorities—especially in terms of meeting stakeholder expectations of stakeholders for going green.  This workshop, delivered in-person to a group of 6 – 15 participants provides an overview of the current state of sustainability in the marketplace, definitions of sustainability, and practical, hands-on first steps your organization can take to preparing a sustainability strategic plan.  The workshop content is intended for any size organization, sector, and leadership capacity and requires no prerequisite.

Takeaways from the workshop include recommended research, initial stakeholder assessment information, criteria for creation of your planning team and selection of initial activities for an outline to customizing your sustainability plan.  Duration:  3 hours.
